Compatibility

System requirements

Version 1.0 supports the configuration that has been tested by MagicSounds.

  • Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer, arm64)
  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Stream Deck 7.1 or later
  • A Stream Deck model with dials for encoder actions
Apple silicon only

Intel Macs are not supported in version 1.0. The included Core Audio helper is built for arm64.

Good to know

Audio-device limitations

Some audio interfaces, HDMI devices, and digital outputs manage volume or mute directly in hardware. macOS cannot provide software controls that the active device does not expose.

These devices can still be selected. Unsupported volume and mute controls are clearly shown as unavailable by the plugin.
